PURPOSE: A method for providing a voice call recording function through a wireless communication network is provided to record and store the contents of a voice call, based on the call connection between mobile terminals, through a voice mail server so that users can simply confirm recorded contents through a playback function by a simple call connection operation with the voice mail server. CONSTITUTION: A calling-side mobile terminal(10) executes a voice call or data transmission/reception with a called-side mobile terminal(12). In case that the calling mobile terminal(10) executes a call connection with the called mobile terminal(12), a call link with a voice mail server(34) is formed so that the contents of the voice call can recorded and stored in the voice mail server(34). MSCs(Mobile Switching Centers)(22,26) provide a voice signal processing function with the voice mail server(34) in order to record the contents of the voice call between the mobile terminals(10,12). The voice mail server(34) records and stores the voice call contents between the mobile terminals(10,12) in an internal voice storing database, based on a voice call recording service request from the calling mobile terminal(10).
