PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin discharging device which can improve the reliability by accurately detecting the state of coins in the device to control the operation of each part on the basis of the result of the detection. SOLUTION: The coin discharging device has a storage part 5, a feeding part 10, a means 6 for detecting stored coins, a conveyance passage 20, a plurality of means 30, for detecting fed coins, which are disposed in a moving direction of the coin moving through the conveyance passage 20 and in an almost vertical direction, and a control part 50 which controls the feeding part 10 on the basis of the detection of the stored coin or the detection of the coin by the means 30 for detecting fed coins. The control part 50 is constituted such that just before the feeding of a coin, the part confirms the state of the means 30 for detecting fed coins, when a coin is detected by each of the plurality of disposed means 30 for detecting fed coins within a predetermined time difference, counts the coin, and if there is a period over which a coin can not be detected, during a period over which the coin is being fed, intermittently rotates a circular disk 11 for feeding in the reverse direction.
