PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nose pad for the frame of spectacles which does not give a pain caused by concentrated stress to a wearer's nose or does not form the mark of a pad on the nose by dispersing pressure applied to the nose from a pad main body, and which is excellent in fit feeling. SOLUTION: The area of a lower part 12a from the coupling part of a front frame with a rim, that means, the coupling part of a core bar 13 with a pad fixing member is made larger than that of an upper part therefrom, and the area of a side surface 12b toward the rim from the coupling part is made larger than that on an opposite side. By extending the area of a part abutting on the nose, the weight of the frame of spectacles applied to the nose through the pad 11 at the abutting part of the pad main body 12 on the nose is dispersed.
