摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrifying member in which film wear is lessened even though the film thickness of a photoreceptor drum varies in the direction of its length and electrification potential is stable, and to provide an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: In the electrifying member 4 for electrifying a photoreceptor 2 that is in contact with or close to the electrifying member 4 by applying the voltage, the photoreceptor 2 has a film thickness difference in the direction of its length, and electric resistance in the direction of the thickness per unit area of the part of the electrifying member 4, which part faces the thin film side of the photoreceptor 2, is higher than the electric resistance in the thickness direction per unit area of the part of the electrifying member 4, which part faces the thick film side of the photoreceptor 2.
