PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine adjusting quantity of leveling bolts for leveling a machine tool. SOLUTION: An operator inputs the kind of the machine tool, levelness measured by a level, and current information of an installation surface to an input part 10. This adjusting quantity determining part 24 selects a function to the machine tool based on the kind of the machine tool, and determines adjusting quantity of leveling bolts based on the selected function and the levelness measured by the level. An output part 14 displays the adjusting quantity for each leveling bolt in a display device as determined. The operator is thus capable of adjusting the levelness of the machine tool based on the adjusting quantity of the leveling bolt determined. A machine tool using the device for adjusting leveling quantity for leveling bolts in the machine tool, and a method for monitoring the level of a group of machine tools are also provided.
