PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a vacuum cleaner which can effectively utilize minus ions which attracts attention in exerting a favorable influence upon a living body. SOLUTION: A cleaner body 1 having an electric blower chamber 3 which contains an electric blower 8 and a dust collecting chamber 2, an exhaust port 10 formed in the cleaner body 1, and an exhaust filter 13 which cleans air exhausted from the exhaust port 10 through the dust collecting chamber 2 are included, a minus ion generator 12 is arranged within the cleaner body 1, and the exhaust filter 13 is electrified by the minus ions 12a generated from the minus ion generator 12.
