TIME MANAGER AND TIME MANAGEMENT METHOD

A time manager for reducing the opportunity of intentional time falsification by a third party, and a time management method. This time manager is characterized by having an external time acquiring means which acquires an external time within a predetermined time width, a local clocking means which outputs a self-running time, and a time difference determining means which calculates the difference between the external time acquired by the external time acquiring means and the self-running time outputted by the local clocking means, sets the external time in the local clocking means when the difference is smaller than a predetermined value, but does not set the external time in the local clocking means when the difference is more than the predetermined value.
