<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting cables concealed in the back of walls capable of efficiently detecting the cables arranged on the back side of the walls from the surface side of the walls and to provide a cable implement to be detected and a cable detection apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The implement to be detected 2 is mounted to a cable 5 in such a way that the magnetizing direction of the implement to be detected 2 which emits magnetic field lines may be along the longitudinal direction of the cable 5. The magnetic field lines are detected from the surface side of a wall 4.
