POROUS SUPPORTING BODY FOR BIOMATERIAL, SUPPORTING BODY FOR EMBEDDING CELL CULTURE MEDIUM OR BIOMATERIAL USING IT, CULTURE METHOD OF CELL AND CELL CULTURE KIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous supporting body for a biomaterial capable of reinforcing a sponge-like medium and keeping a form, a supporting body for embedding a cell culture medium or the biomaterial using it, a culture method of cells and a cell culture kit.

SOLUTION: The porous supporting body for the biomaterial in a hollow cylindrical shape is composed of a biocompatible material or a biodegradable material. The supporting body for embedding the cell culture medium or the biomaterial is composed by inserting the sponge-like medium inside the hollow of the porous supporting body for the biomaterial. The culture method of the cells comprises a process of inserting the sponge-like medium inside the hollow of the porous supporting body for the biomaterial, a process of housing the porous supporting body for the biomaterial inside the well of a culture plate, a process of adding the cells to be cultured to the sponge-like medium, and a process of culturing the cells. The kit for cell culture is provided with the porous supporting body for the biomaterial and the sponge-like medium.
