<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive circuit for preventing failure in a valve open/close controller utilizing a motor. <P>SOLUTION: The motor drive circuit 110 comprises a passage for letting a current flow to a motor 12, a means 126 for monitoring current flow state to the motor 12, and a means 128 for delivering a monitor signal representative of the monitoring result from the monitor means 126 to a control circuit 130.
