<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape guide drive assembly capable of inhibiting a magnetic tape from swaying in the direction of the width and stably guiding the running of the magnetic tape. <P>SOLUTION: An upper flat surface flange 17U and a lower flat surface flange 17D are arranged separately from rollers 23 so as to be unable to rotate, on both sides of the rollers 23 to be arranged along the travelling path of a magnetic tape T.
