PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of a vehicle by learning the data, etc. showing the position and the shape of a road on the road section and by utilizing the learned results for controlling the vehicle in the case of running on the road section after the next time, when the vehicle runs on the section where the actual road shape obtained based on the vehicle condition information is different from the road shape obtained based on the road information. SOLUTION: The apparatus for controlling the vehicle comprises a driving force adjusting unit for adjusting the driving force for the vehicle, a road information offering unit for offering the road information, a vehicle condition information offering unit for offering the vehicle condition information, and a control unit for controlling the driving force adjusting unit based on the road information and the vehicle condition information. The control unit learns the road shape on the road section, when the vehicle runs on the road section where the road shape obtained based on the vehicle condition information is different from the road shape obtained based on the road information.
