PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand an adjusting range of the differential limiting function of a planetary gear type differential gear device. SOLUTION: An internal teeth gear 4 is rotatably stored in a housing 2, and a sun gear 6 is rotatably fitted on a concentric circle on the inner peripheral side of this internal teeth gear 4. A plurality of planetary gears 8 held in a planetary carrier 10 are arranged between the internal teeth gear 4 and the sun gear 6, and mesh with the internal teeth gear 4 and the sun gear 6. In operation, differential limiting is performed by frictional resistance of sliding surfaces 4e and 2Ba between one side surface of the internal teeth gear 4 and the housing 2 and sliding surfaces 6b and 2Aa between one side surface of the sun gear 6 and the housing 2. Frictional force in the sliding surfaces is increased by inclining the sliding surfaces 4e, 2Ba, 6b, and 2Aa to a plane orthogonal to the rotational axis L1 of the internal teeth gear 4 and the sun gear 6.
