PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of heat treatment for casting with which the high quality casting restraining strain can be produced at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the method of heat treatment for casting, performing the heat treatment, in which the temperature of the casting 10 is raised and cooled, when the heat treatment is applied to the casting, in which a hollow member 20 is composed of this hollow part 20a beforehand inserted so as to communicate with the outer part, a reinforcing member 30 for preventing the strain in the hollow part at the time of the heat treatment is inserted and the heat treatment is applied under this state.
