PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of adjusting an angular position continuously, and preventing contact noises due to the rotation of a rotating member for adjusting the angular position. SOLUTION: The mechanism comprises a first cam fixed to a first shaft, a second shaft fixed to a rotating member apart from and in parallel with the first shaft, a second cam rotatably attached to the second shaft, a rotation bias member applying a rotation force to the second cam so that the second cam is rotated in one rotational direction around the second shaft, a first rotation limiting member attached to the rotating member for limiting the rotation of the second cam in one direction by the rotation bias member, and a releasing member releasing the rotational limitation of the second cam by the first rotation limiting member when the rotating member is rotated in the same direction as the aforesaid direction around the first shaft by a first angle from a first reference line passing the first shaft vertically. The first cam has an outside shape gradually increasing the distance from the first shaft, and the second cam has an outside shape gradually decreasing the distance from the second shaft. When the rotational limitation of the second cam is released, the second cam is rotated in the aforesaid rotational direction, and contacted with the second cam. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
