PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a space of an instrument panel rear side, and reduce the weight of a vehicle and manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: This steering support beam 1 extends in a predetermined direction on the rear side of an instrument panel, and is connected with a vehicle body at its both ends. A beam body 2 is constituted with a plurality of split members 7, 8 split across the longitudinal direction of the beam body 2, and the split members 7, 8 are assembled with each other.
