PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative film which can obtain a sharp embossed pattern on the surface and can be adhered to a woody plate, a decorative plate obtained by laminating the decorative film on a substrate such as a wood plate or a metal plate, and a method for producing the decorative film the surface of which is embossed. SOLUTION: The decorative film 10 of two layers comprises embossed layer 20 of the uppermost layer and a holding layer 30 of the lowest layer. In the decorative film 10 of three layers, these resin layers are bonded through an adhesive layer 40. A multi-layer resin film of a resin of at least 1g melt tension of the resin of the embossed layer 20 of the uppermost layer constituting a multi-layer resin layer and/or the holding layer 30 of the lowest layer is heated to a temperature at least to melt an embossed resin of an upper layer or above. The decorative film is obtained by forming the embossed pattern on the surface the uppermost layer resin by using an embossing roll. The upper layer is made a resin layer excellent in embossment properties of a resin such as PBT of a large crystallization speed.
