PURPOSE:To achieve side face emission by forming an emission window part on one surface of a body in regular hexahedron incorporating LED elements, making surfaces excluding the surface for forming an emission window part and a surface opposing the surface as mount surfaces, and then forming a pair of electrodes at the outer-periphery part. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting equipment 1 is constituted of glass epoxy substrate 5 which is approximately 0.8 mm thick and a reflection case 10 which is approximately 0.8 mm thick and is joined to the glass epoxy substrate 5 by an adhesive material. The glass epoxy substrate 5 is provided with a nearly rectangular shape where a circular cut part through four corner parts in thickness direction. Then, a cut-out part is provided at four corner parts, an anode electrode 8 and a cathode electrode 9 are formed along the shape of the cut-out part, and then both electrodes 8 and 9 are bonded to a circuit substrate KNO pad P by a conductive adhesive material such as solder, thus positively performing surface mounting a surface-mount type side face light emitting equipment 1. |
