PURPOSE:To provide an electronic musical instrument which can accurately reproduce the musical sound signals obtained by the use of different types of real-time control operators and can change simply the musical sound characteristics on the basis of the reproduced signals. CONSTITUTION:Different types of real-time control operators are maneuvered to determine the musical sound characteristics so that the desired musical sounds are formed, and when a player gives an instruction to store the musical sound characteristics in a memory, the corresponding maneuver information (value CVi) of the operators at the time are stored in a scene memory from scene switches 41-43. When the musical sounds having the specific characteristics stored are to be reproduced, the maneuver information is read out of the applicable scene memory through the use of the scene switch 41 and a scene slider 41, and upon determination of necessary musical sound parameter from the maneuver information with the aid of a conversion table, the parameter is passed to the sound source to result in reproduction of the desired musical sound. |
