<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a deterioration in transmission efficiency due to change of a modulation system. <P>SOLUTION: A modulation/demodulation part 32 modulates information to be transmitted and demodulates the received information. A time slot control part 42 allocates a time slot to a terminal device 10 when a base station device 12 connects the terminal device 10. A quality derivation part 36 properly derives quality of the transmission path. A modulation system control part 34 determines modulation systems suitable for quality of the transmission path to uplink and downlink, respectively. Furthermore, the modulation system control part 34 determines change from the modulation system used at present to the modulation system determined as mentioned above when the remaining time of the time slot is equal to or more then a threshold, however, determines continuous use of the modulation system used at present without changing the modulation system to the determined one when the remaining time is less than the threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
