<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a frequency signal source whose dealable frequencies can cover a plurality of frequency bands by a single voltage controlled oscillator (VCO). <P>SOLUTION: This frequency signal source is provided with a channel control section 8 which outputs a control signal corresponding to an output frequency, a reference oscillation source 51 for generating a reference signal corresponding to the control signal, a single voltage controlled oscillator 5 which generates a high frequency signal corresponding to a comparison signal, a distributor 6 which distributes the high-frequency signal into two, a variable frequency divider 7 which outputs a synchronous signal which has a predetermined frequency obtained by dividing the frequency of one of the distributed high frequency signals from the distributor and corresponds to the control signal, a phase comparator 3 which compares the phase of the synchronous signal with that of the reference signal and outputs its result as the comparison signal, a fixed frequency divider 9 which divides the other high frequency signal from the distributor into a predetermined frequency, and a frequency selection section 10 which outputs a specific frequency component corresponding to the control signal out of components of the output signal outputted from the fixed frequency divider. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
