<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for lubricating fluid containing perfluoropolyether base agent having integration of improved stabilizing properties in the presence of Lewis acid and simplified synthesizing process. <P>SOLUTION: The perfluoropolyether base agent is a compound comprising a (per)fluoropolyether chain and terminal groups having pyridine structure of the structural formula: T<SB>1</SB>-CW<SB>1</SB>-O-R<SB>f</SB>-CW<SB>2</SB>-T<SB>2</SB>[T<SB>1</SB>, T<SB>2</SB>are each F, CF<SB>3</SB>, C<SB>2</SB>F<SB>5</SB>, (C<SB>2</SB>F<SB>4</SB>)Cl; CH<SB>2</SB>-B-Y, CH(CF<SB>3</SB>)O-Y(B is O, S; Y is (in the formula R<SB>2</SB>-R<SB>4</SB>are each H, F, 1-8C linear or branched perfluoroalkyl, NO<SB>2</SB>, CN)), at least one of two terminal groups T<SB>1</SB>, T<SB>2</SB>is CH<SB>2</SB>-B-Y or CH(CF<SB>3</SB>)O-Y as defined in the above; W<SB>1</SB>, W<SB>2</SB>are each -F, -CF<SB>3</SB>, R<SB>f</SB>is a (per)fluoropolyoxyalkylene chain having 400-10,00 of number average molecular weight]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
