DATA COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING GLASS MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication system and a system for manufacturing a glass member in which a product having almost uniform characteristics in a predetermined direction can be obtained. SOLUTION: The system 1 for manufacturing a glass member is equipped with a control unit 4 to control the manufacturing unit and with a personal computer 5 connected to the control unit 4. The personal computer 5 contains a data base 13 stored with a plurality of control parameters or the like to control each part of the manufacturing unit. The control parameters are set in a plurality of numbers along the axial direction of the work. The control unit 4 has a data transmitting and receiving part 19 and a controlling part 20. The data transmitting and receiving part 19 requests the personal computer 5 for the control parameter to be used to control the manufacturing unit, sequentially captures the control parameters transmitted from the personal computer 5 and stores the parameters into a memory 17.
