PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing technology for conducting processing in high speed while maintaining image quality. SOLUTION: The image processing technology generates an output color image formed by an output pixel value for a plurality of ink from an input color image composed of a plurality of input pixels. At first, as for at least two kinds of ink, one half tone processing is independently selected for each ink among a plurality of half tone processing by analyzing the input color image. By this operation, half tone processing applied to each of the plurality of ink is determined. Next, determined half tone processing is applied for each of the plurality of ink.
