PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a video display device to be held on a person's wrist, and a display unit thereof to be changed freely in direction, and to be folded. SOLUTION: The video display device comprises: a wrist belt 10 fixed to a wrist; an oscillating mechanism 3a provided on the wrist belt 10; and a video display unit 2 attached to the oscillating mechanism 3a wherein a screen 6 of the video display unit 2 can be oriented toward the eyes of a viewer to enable the viewer to view the screen, and can be folded to a position substantially parallel to an arm 14 when it is not in use.
