PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of a scattering prevention grid to maintain orientation accuracy. SOLUTION: This radiation-imaging scattering prevention grid has a scattering prevention layer 10 with a plurality of metallized partitions. The partition allows passage of X-rays emitted from a radiation source positioned above the grid, and absorbs X-rays not directly emitted from the radiation source. The grid has one or more plates 20, 22 of foamed polymer material each fixed on one face of the scattering prevention layer 10. The grid can be disposed by a frame. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
