PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel and its construction method reducing a construction cost and shortening a construction period by simplifying the constitution of the tunnel itself such as a shaft and eliminating the necessity of like ground improvement work. SOLUTION: Pre-cast blocks 4 consisting of materials capable of being cut by a shield machine are incorporated in a place of a starting port or an arrival port of the shield machine in a side wall form when the side wall is formed, and concrete is placed in the side wall form at a site to construct a shaft 1.
