PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aged-worker-friendly sub-roof material which cause a worker to seldom slip even if the worker steps on it when installing on a roof and reducing the weight of it by solving such a problem that mineral powder is dispersed and stuck to the surface of a chief material to enhance the frictional coefficient in order to prevent the worker stepping on the installation face from slipping in the installation work of the conventional sub-roof material onto an inclined roof, part of the mineral powder falls off or the product becomes heavy and to make it hard for the worker. SOLUTION: A synthetic fiber nonwoven fabric 3 obtained by needle-punch is impregnated with asphalt 4 on the surface of a main member 2 in the sub-roof material of the roof. A large number of protrusions/recesses are formed on the synthetic fiber nonwoven fabric having the surface fluffed by a needle punch. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
