PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-pressure casting machine in which the maintenance work and the parts changing work are facilitated, and miniaturization and simplification of the entire apparatus are attained. SOLUTION: In the low-pressure casting machine having a holding furnace 4 on a lower side of a die base 3, an upper die 9 is fitted to a stay 23 erected from the die base 3 in a cantilever condition in an elevating/lowering manner, and an elevating/lowering cylinder 27 to elevate/lower the upper die is disposed along the stay 23.
