PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester having a grain-unloading device having the compacted whole machine body without damaging the improvement of unloading operability of chaff and handleability by an operator, and imparting more improved safety and efficiency compared to those of a conventional machine to the chaff-unloading operation. SOLUTION: The combine harvester has an auger for unloading the grains in the interior of a gain tank 30, having a fixed conveying cylinder 19b and a horizontal auger 19 freely extended and contracted based on the fixed conveying cylinder 19b and comprising a movable conveying cylinder 19a having an unloading port 19c at the tip, and is constituted by arranging the horizontal auger 19 at the upper part of one side wall part of the grain tank 30, and a connection part of a ceiling part. As a result, the horizontal auger 19 can be extended and contracted in the direction along the side wall surface of the grain tank 30 in a shorter time compared to that by a zoom-type auger which is extended and contracted at the upper part of the ceiling part of the grain tank 30 so as to direct to the diagonal of the plane of the machine body in a conventional combine harvester.
