PURPOSE: A method for providing a button sound service in a mobile phone is provided to increase the quality of a mobile supplemental service by offering a user interface capable of changing button sounds according to a user's taste. CONSTITUTION: If a user accesses a button sound service server through a base station and a mobile switching center by using the communication interface of his mobile phone and makes a request for button sound groups(S200), the server displays a list of button sound groups on the user's mobile phone(S202). If the user selects one of the groups, the server transmits the selected button sound group to the mobile phone through the base station and the mobile switching center(S204). The mobile phone stores the transmitted button sound group in a memory(S206). Afterward the mobile phone judges whether the user makes a button sound group change request(S208). In case that the button sound group change request is inputted, the mobile phone provides a user interface to change button sound groups(S210). |
