CONTROL METHOD, CONTROL SYSTEM, INFORMATION TERMINAL, HOME ELECTRIC APPLIANCES/EQUIPMENT, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check operational state of home electric appliances in real-time with an information terminal in a system equipped with networked home electric appliances/network equipment by reducing communication traffic with respect to a control method for monitoring conditions of appliances, a control system, home electric appliances/equipment and a program.

SOLUTION: When a washing machine 1 starts operation, it transmits operation start information to the information terminal 5. The information terminal 5 which receives the above information, shortens the interval of polling communication for checking the status of each appliance, secures the real timeliness of the status information at the time of appliances operation held at the information terminal 5, and improve user's convenience while reducing communication traffic under regular halt of appliances.
