PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient operation by controlling a field and elevating the heat radiation of a field coil, in a magnetic rotary electric machine. SOLUTION: This generator 1 is equipped with a rotor core 4 rotating in a body with a rotating shaft, a magnet 5 attached to the periphery of the rotor core 4, a stator core 6 arranged outside the rotor core 4, and a magnet coil 8 wound and provided in the stator core 6. This generator 1 is provided with a field coil 16 and a field ring 26 adjacent to a stator core 6, and also the rotor core 4 is provided with a control magnetic pole between each magnet 5 and the next so as to form a closed magnetic path which passes the field coil 16, the field ring 26, and the control magnetic pole.
