<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily retrieve information about a display object and an exhibition object by using a wireless IC tag. <P>SOLUTION: An information providing system comprises a wireless IC tag 102, attached to a display object or an exhibition object 10 and with an URL including provided information about the object 10 recorded thereon; information providing terminal 103 for receiving to display the information including the URL from the tag 102 when approaching the tag 102, and transmitting a connection request to the URL; and an information providing device 104 for interfacing the connection between the URL and the terminal 103, when the request from the terminal 103 is received, if the URL exists in the own information recording part 107, or exists in external information providing servers 110-1 to 110-n, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
