PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melt-welding method in which embrittlement cracks due to molten metal do not occur in a weld heat affected zone without removing a plated layer beforehand when the melt-welding is executed to a Zn-plated steel plate, even if the melt-welding is executed without suppressing a heat input amount. SOLUTION: When the melt-welding is executed to the Zn-plated steel plate in which a Zn alloy is plated on the surface of the steel plate, a wall 17 for preventing the movement of the molten metal is provided to the outside of a welding part of the Zn-plated steel plate. The molten plating metal is prevented from approaching a welding part 6 by stemming the molten plating metal during welding. Accordingly, the molten Zn is prevented from permeating into a grain boundary of coarse-grained crystal grains of the weld heat affected zone.
