PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine oil cooler, allowing easy arrangement of a bypass passage for excessive hydraulic pressure on the oil cooler side. SOLUTION: This engine oil cooler has a cooler core part 2 for exchanging heat between cooling water and oil, and a bracket part 3 having one surface 11 becoming a fixing surface for fixing the cooler core part 1, and having the other surface 12 becoming an installation seat to an engine block. The bracket part 3 is provided with an oil inflow hole 15, and an oil outflow hole 16 for communicating with an oil passage formed in the engine block, and communicating with the cooler core part 2. A bypass groove 17 for communicating the oil inflow hole 15 with the oil outflow hole 16, is formed on the one surface 11 side of the bracket part 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
