PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic winding screen device by which a braking force is applied by a damper in a later stage of storing a screen irrespective of an amount of extension of the screen. SOLUTION: A one-way clutch mechanism 30 comprises a damper side clutch piece 31 mounted on a fixed shaft 17 fixed to a winding box by an intermediary of the damper 25, and a winding shaft side clutch piece 35 which rotates integrally with a winding shaft 6 while being freely slidable in the axial direction. The mechanism 30 further comprises a clutch spring 34 for urging both of the clutch pieces 31, 35 in a direction of their engagement, and a time differential actuation means for a clutch for spacing out the clutches 31, 35 against the urging force of the clutch spring 34 after rotation of the winding shaft 6 upon starting expansion of the screen 7.
