PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding type screen device which prevents a screen guide for guiding an edge of a screen paid out from a winding shaft from remaining on an opening frame of a building, when the screen is opened by being wound around the winding shaft. SOLUTION: In this winding type screen device 1A which is mounted on the opening frame of the building, the screen guide 6 for guiding the edge of the screen 5, paid out from the winding shaft 4, on the opening frame protrudes from/recedes into an inside 2a of a fixed frame 2 or an inside 3b of a movable stile 3, as the screen 5 is paid out from the winding shaft 4 or wound around the winding shaft 4, through operations of the movable stile 3.
