PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a casting member made of a shape memory alloy, that has accurate shape memory temperature and is homogeneous, at a comparatively low cost. SOLUTION: Raw material powders of Ti and Ni, etc., are precisely mixed and synthesized from the raw material mixed powder into a compound with a combustion synthesizing method by using a combustion synthetic reaction apparatus. The shape memory alloy-made casting member is produced from the obtained shape memory alloy by casting. In this producing method, since the produced shape memory alloy is melted and used with the combustion synthesizing method, gravity segregation is less liable to develop and the uniform shape memory-made casting member having accurate shape memory recovering temperature can be produced.
