PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical injection molding machine capable of performing the maintenance of an upper mold or the like safely and easily. SOLUTION: This vertical injection molding machine 10 is equipped with shuttle trucks 41 and 42 horizontally movable between a molding station 20 and programming stations 21 and 22. One shuttle truck 41 is loaded with a first upper mold 32 and a lower mold 33 while another shuttle truck 42 is equipped with a second upper mold 36 and a lower mold 37. The upper mold holder 71 provided on the frame member 66 of the first programming station 21 can be revolved over a horizontal position where the upper mold 32 becomes horizontal and a vertical position where the upper mold 32 is revolved to fall by a revolving mechanism 81. The upper mold holder 100 provided on the frame member 91 of the second programming station 22 is also revolved over a horizontal position where the upper mold 32 becomes horizontal and a vertical position where the upper mold 32 is revolved to fall by a revolving mechanims 102.
