PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slitter for facilitating replacement of a spacer and cutters by relaxing mutual attraction by formation of an oil film to make the spacer and the spacer, and the spacer and the cutters easy to be separated. SOLUTION: This slitter has a rotatable arbor, the plurality of cutters arranged at prescribed intervals via the spacer on the arbor, and a fixing means for fixing the cutters to the arbor by clamping the cutters together with the spacer, to cut and form a strip material of a width according to the intervals of the cutters by rotating the cutters together with the arbor. In the slitter, uneven patterns 2 are formed in a part in contact with other members adjacent to at least a side surface of any one of the spacer, the cutters and constituting members of the arbor in close contact with the spacer and the cutters.
