PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine which can offer a treatment of outside of the shanks of a user to be treated, which does not restrain the user's lower legs in a seating condition, and on which the user can sit in a free position. SOLUTION: The chair type massage machine provides a legrest 4 equipped with a supporting part 31 having a supporting face 33 which supports the user's lower legs, and a treating part 32 having air bags 35 and 37 which inflate and deflate by supplying and exhausting the air, forming an approximately flat face to the supporting face 33 when the air bags 35 and 37 deflate, and pushing the outside of the user's shanks inside backward when the air bags inflate.
