The inventions relates to a composition adapted for use as a sealing strip in the manufacture of insulating structures. The composition includes a polymeric base material, a cross linking agent, an adhesion promoter and less than 10% tackifier. The invention further relates to an insulating structure including first and second panes with the sealing strip positioned therebetween.
