<p>A plurality of fixed video cameras (12) each transmit a video image signal (13) upon a separate radio frequency to a portable monitor possessing a plurality of digital flat screen video displays (17). Selection of signal from a greater number of cameras than the number of video display screens automatically and manually is provided including automatic selection of a signal capturing motion. Hand held and headgear configurations are suggested along with a keypad for manual signal selection and remote camera control. Flexible and elastic straps are suggested for strapping to a forearm or head. Goggle and helmet headgear configurations are suggested with windows placed adjacent to the video display screens; particularly in between and to the side of video display screens arranged horizontally. Simultaneous monitoring of areas encompassed by a plurality of fixed video cameras and the areas in which a single mobile security personnel moves is enabled.</p> |
