PURPOSE: An apparatus for evaluating performance of a vehicle is provided to improve preciseness of evaluation and to simultaneously evaluate performance of a front bumper and a rear bumper of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A bumper performance evaluating apparatus includes a conveying rail(32) installed on a ground(31). A vehicle moves with a predetermined speed such that the vehicle collides with a fixing wall. A transfer vehicle(40) is provided at a front part(41) thereof with a bumper(34). A speed reducing unit(50) is installed at one side of a rear wheel(43) of the transfer vehicle(40) in order to reduce a speed of the transfer vehicle(40) when the transfer vehicle collides with the vehicle. A chain release unit(33a) is installed on the conveying rail(32). The transfer vehicle(40) collides with a rear portion of the vehicle.
