PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for correcting an image of a vehicle are provided to automatically set up parameters related to lane recognition and alarm logic without re-tuning a program by correcting deviations changed based on reference parameters even if a mounted position of a camera is changed. CONSTITUTION: An image input unit inputs an image of a road(S100). A control unit analyzes an inclination, a width of the road, and a vertex of the image of the road(S200). The control unit compares the analyzed values with reference values of an inclination, a width of the road, and a vertex related to a reference position of camera mounting(S300). It is judged whether a deviation at each point is generated(S400). If so, correction of lane recognition parameters is executed related to the generated deviations to be set up as the current value(S500).
