PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting an abnormal heat emission of an electric equipments in an early state is provided to minimize casualties due to an electric fire by detecting a smell generated in a pre-burning stage of the electric fire. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting an abnormal heat emission of an electric equipments in an early state includes a temperature detection capsule(1), a smell detection sensor(2), a detection circuit(4), an output portion(5), and a monitor(6). The temperature detection capsule includes a smell material(1a) therein. The smell detection sensor detects the smell from the temperature detection capsule. The detection circuit detects a voltage difference of a bridge circuit(3) due to a temperature convection of the smell detection sensor. The output portion is operated by an output of the detection circuit.
