<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulb shaped fluorescent lamp wherein the heat in a cover body is efficiently radiated to outside and the reliability of a lighting device is enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: Since a shielding means preventing a heat conductive substance filled in the cover body from entering an explosion proof part of a smoothing electrolytic capacitor for smoothing is provided even if the heat conductive substance is filled in the whole area of the cover body, the explosion proof part can be opened to prevent a danger such as explosion in continuous usage at the end of life when the electrolyte of smoothing electrolytic capacitor is decreased. Even if it is a lamp which is heated at high temperature during lighting, the inside of the cover body is heated at high temperatures, usage in a condition exceeding an operating temperature limit of the smoothing electrolytic capacitor disposed in the cover body is suppressed, thus, the bulb shaped fluorescent lamp with enhanced reliability of the lighting device is realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
