Floroglucino salts, in particular salts of tetrahydro-and octahydro- hyperforin or adhyperforin derivates and of colupon with acetylcholinesteras e- inhibiting alkaloids and methods for the preparation thereof. Said salts are useful for the treatment of depression and Alzheimer~s disease can be administered as conventional pharmaceutical formulations or as controlled- release transdermal preparations.
