<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly transfer information between the origin of ordering and the destination of ordering. <P>SOLUTION: An SCM terminal 200 is installed in each relevant department and ordering destination in a company, and connected through a communication network C to the SCM server 100. The storage part of the SCM server 100 stores information associated with the design of components and a product. The information is shared by the company and the destination of ordering. When the information is updated, the SCM server 100 detects this, and notifies the result of the update of the information to the company and the destination of ordering concerned with the information through an electronic mail.
